Invite-only beta

Your coach builds next week off the weight you actually hit this week.

Log your lifts. SwoleBro reads your real sets — 185×5, the ones you grind, the ones you miss — and writes a plan around them. Then your crew watches to make sure you show up.

We're letting people in slowly — it's built for a crew, not the masses. Get on the list.

SwoleBro's weekly plan on a phone: Friday pull day with target sets, reps and coaching cues, each exercise marked Done, and a Start Live Workout button.

How it works

Four taps to logged. The rest runs itself.

  1. 01

    Log the set

Type 185×5 and move on, or start a live workout and tick sets off as you finish them. Either way it takes seconds, not a spreadsheet.

  2. 02

    Coach writes the week

It reads what you actually lifted and sets next week's targets off that. Hit all your reps? It nudges the weight. Barely survived? It holds you there. No generic template.

  3. 03

    Train live

Live mode runs a rest timer between sets and keeps the screen awake, so your phone isn't black when you reach for it mid-superset.

  4. 04

    Your crew sees it

Your lifts land in a feed your people can see. They cheer, they chirp, they notice when you go quiet for a week. That's the point.

The coach

It programs off your logbook, not a vibe.

Pick a voice with some personality (that's the next section) and it builds a structured weekly plan with real target weights — worked out from the sets you've actually logged. Tell it what equipment you've got, how long you've been training, and which shoulder you don't trust, and it programs around all of it.

You squatted 225 for a hard triple on Tuesday. Next week it hands you a number and a rep range, not "go heavy, feel it out."

SwoleBro live workout mode on a phone: a large rest timer counting down with skip and adjust buttons, the first set logged at 6 reps, and the remaining sets queued below.

Live workout mode

A rest timer that doesn't let the screen die.

Start a session and it walks you set by set. The timer counts your rest, the screen stays lit, and you log the weight the second the bar's racked — before you forget whether that was the 8 or the 7.

Your crew

Connect by @handle. Both people have to say yes.

Add the four or five people you actually train with. No follower counts, no strangers — just the crew that'll give you grief when you skip legs.

The feed

Posts, comments, reactions, wall posts.

Hype a PR. Argue about rep ranges. Leave something dumb on your brother's wall at 6am so it's the first thing he sees. It's a group chat that happens to know your squat.

Records & streaks

The numbers that keep you honest.

  • PRs tracked per lift, so you know the actual number to beat.
  • Progression charts that show the line going up — or flat, which is the kind thing to know.
  • Weekly streaks you'll be weirdly protective of by week three.
  • Bodyweight logged in a tap — lb or kg — so the trend's there whether you're cutting or bulking.

Head to head

See exactly how you stack up against your crew.

Streaks, sessions this week and this month, total sets, 30-day volume, bodyweight — you and a crewmate, side by side. Not a leaderboard for strangers. Just the people who'll clock it when you go quiet.

Goals

Name the target. The coach aims every week at it.

Set your goal — cut, bulk, add plates to a lift — and your crew sees it while your coach programs toward it. Or just say it in chat and the coach writes it down for you.

Progress photos

Private until you decide otherwise.

Shots are yours alone by default. Share one with your crew when you're ready, or keep the whole album to yourself. You pick, every time.

On your phone

Installs like an app. It's a PWA.

Add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen like anything else on your phone. No app store, no 200MB download.

Meet the coaches

Six voices. Same math, wildly different bedside manner.

You pick who's in your ear. The programming's identical — the delivery is very much not.

SwoleBro's coach picker on a phone: six personalities listed with a one-line description each, Iron Sensei selected and highlighted in orange.

SwoleBro hype-machine gym bro

“BRO. That bar is scared of you. One more. I said ONE MORE. Let's gooo.”

SwoleSis fierce, lifts heavier than you

“I did not drive over here to watch you half-rep. Chin up, chest out. Again.”

Sergeant Steel drill-sergeant discipline

“You call that a lockout? That's two. Give me the other three sets. Move.”

Iron Sensei patient master, proverbs & gains

“The bar is heavy. You are patient. Breathe in, brace, and let the weight teach you.”

Cap'n Ironbeard salty sea-dog

“Heave, ye landlubber! Hoist it like ye mean it or it's back to swabbin' the deck.”

The Ministry of Gains absurd British comedy

“The Ministry of Gains has reviewed your squat and finds it acceptable. Proceed to the next set forthwith.”

The story

It started as a way for two brothers to lift together.

One of us got deployed overseas. Different time zone, no shared gym, no spotter — but we still wanted to train like we were in the same room, give each other grief, and actually know if the other guy was putting in the work.

So we built a thing. Log your sets, see each other's, let something smarter than us sort out next week's numbers. It was two people and a shared spreadsheet before it was an app.

It's grown since, but the idea hasn't moved: a small, tight crew keeping each other honest. We'd rather build that well for a few hundred people than build something hollow for everyone.

FAQ

The short answers.

Is it free?

Free while we're in beta. If that ever changes, you'll hear it from us first — no surprise charge, no card on file right now.

How do I get in?

It's invite-only for now. Request an invite and we'll reach out as we open up spots, or get a code from someone already in your crew.

Do I need a gym?

No. Tell the coach what you've got — a full rack, a pair of dumbbells, or just the floor — and it programs around that. Bodyweight works fine.

Is my data private?

Progress photos are private by default — nobody sees them unless you share them. Your crew sees the lifts you log, and only the people you've both agreed to connect with. You're in control of what goes where.
